Tutoring Services

The LT Coop office provides support in the following areas:

Writing

• Develop strategies for approaching writing projects of all lengths and demands 
• Create effective introductions and conclusions
• Create a thesis and supporting claims 
• Learn about research and documentation (APA, MLA, etc.) 
• Construct deep revisions 
• Work on graduate theses and dissertations
• Understand punctuation and grammar

Academics

• Obtain ELL tutoring
• Supports accomodations for students with disabilities using tape recorders, extended sessions, etc.
• Learn strategies for time management with writing and research projects
• Use e-mail and other software
• Learn strategies for studying and exam preparation
• Receive assistance with graduate school and scholarship applications
• Gain faculty development across the curriculum

Projects

• Help produce and publicize KNOCK, a literary arts magazine published at Antioch
• Help facilitate curricular and student-sponsored projects and events
