  • Drop-In Database Training  Do you need help researching online? This monthly workshop is for anyone needing help using the library's research tools: OhioLink, ProQuest, SerialsSolutions and RefWorks.
  • Drop-In FirstClass Training  Are you new to FirstClass or just haven't used it in a while? This informal training session will answer most of your questions about e-mail, course conferences, AIM and more.
  • Introduction to PowerPoint   A guided hands-on introduction to basic skills is followed by a discussion of design concepts, such as organization, and visual and verbal clarity.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint  Take advantage of PowerPoint's specialized features to make a custom presentation. Learn to make a master slide, charts, background images, plus use sound and animation. Learn design concepts and pitfalls.
  • Successful Scholarship Searching The Financial Aid Office, the Learning and Teaching Cooperative and the AUS Library offer classes to assist students in the scholarship search process. Topics include seaching for scholarships and profiles, recommendation and thank you letters, writing essays and peer reviews. You can also view a 6-minute long video (16MB in Quicktime format) on recommendation and thank you letters.
