B.A., Whittier College; M.A., Leadership Institute of Seattle, City University; Ph.D., Seattle Pacific University.
Carol Stanley has held various adjunct faculty positions at Leadership Institute of Seattle, St. Martin College, Seattle Pacific University and Antioch University Seattle prior to becoming Acting Dean of the School of Applied Psychology, Counseling and Family Therapy. Stanley served in that role for two years. She is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and a member of the International Family Therapy Association (IFTA). A licensed mental health counselor in Washington, she is in private practice in Renton and owns/oversees as Clinical Director Valley Counseling Training Center, a site which provides training for people wanting to explore independent practice. Stanley provides a variety of training venues as well as post graduate supervision and provides corporate consultation. Some of the corporations and organizations Carol has consulted with include Costco, US Bank, Trend West, ALCOA (in Wenatchee, Tennessee, Indiana) and the Seattle Area Diocese of the Episcople Church.
