To apply for a pre-endorsement waiver, download an application packet from http://www.k12.wa.us/SpecialEd/waivers.aspx. Earning the Endorsement
Candidates for the Special Education Endorsement are evaluated in each course on the basis of standards established by Antioch University Seattle and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. At the end of each course, you receive a pass/no pass grade and a narrative assessment reflecting your performance. At the end of the program, each student presents for review a portfolio of coursework and field experience that demonstrates achievement of the required competencies. Students must also pass the WEST-E Special Education exam. For more information on the WEST-E tests, please visit the WEST website.
Refund
Students who withdraw from a course are refunded tuition, in accordance with the university's refund policy outlined in tuition payment information.
