Admissions
The AUS B.A. in Liberal Studies program is a two-year program for students who transfer to AUS with the third year of academic standing and have already earned 60 semester credits (or 90 quarter credits). (Exceptions may be accommodated.) Second language proficiency at least at the introductory level is preferred (the study abroad sequence of the program will create an opportunity for further advancement of the language skills). International students need to demonstrate English language proficiency at the TOEFL level of 550 on the paper test based scale or 214 on computerized test.
Application Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Deadlines depend on your individual course of study.
Cost and Financial Aid
Financial Aid will be processed by Antioch University Seattle. Several types of assistance are available through federal and state government, Antioch and private organizations. Eligibility for financial assistance usually is based on need. Your individualized aid package may include multiple types of assistance. Visit this page for additional information, including scholarship databases.
There are countless outside scholarships for which you may apply for the study abroad sequences of your program. AEA has compiled a guide containing many of these scholarships and grants. You can download it here or contact AEA for a hard copy.
