The goal of the Leadership & Organizational Studies concentration is to engage you in reflective inquiry into the nature of dynamic leadership and effective organizational life for the 21st century.
Particular emphasis is placed on leadership theories and models for guiding systemic and collaborative change. You elect this focus if you are interested in pursuing work in management, human resources, business, policy making, advocacy or leadership in fields such as education, health care and social services. As you complete this concentration, you also acquire the necessary prerequisites for successful graduate study in these fields.
