Janice Hoshino

Janice HoshinoJanice Hoshino, Ph.D., ATR-BC, chair of the Art Therapy program and core faculty in the School of Applied Psychology, Counseling and Family Therapy — Hoshino's specializations are couple and family art therapy, multicultural issues in art therapy, domestic violence, family mediation, mental health ethics and mental health issues of Asian Americans. Development of art therapy as a profession is another of her interests. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a registered and board-certified art therapist, American Art Therapy Association. Hoshino maintains a private practice in Redmond, Wash. She has published several articles and chapters and is co-author of Family Art Therapy,  to be released in spring 2007.
